Brush Wolf X-Series Excavator Brush Cutter – 60X & 72X
The Brush Wolf X-Series Excavator Brush Cutter is a heavy-duty excavator forestry attachment built for commercial land clearing, tree removal, right-of-way maintenance, ditch clearing, and vegetation management. Available in 60" and 72" cutting widths, these hydraulic rotary cutters can tackle brush and trees up to 10 inches in diameter.
Designed for large excavators and backhoes, the X-Series combines high cutting torque, heavy-duty construction, and hydraulic flow options from 20–45 GPM.
Cut Trees Up to 10"
The X-Series is built for more than grass and light brush. Its 10-inch maximum cutting capacity makes it a serious excavator tree cutter for clearing saplings, heavy brush, trees, fence lines, slopes, pond banks, roadsides, and overgrown property.
Direct-Drive Piston Motor
A direct-drive SAI® radial piston motor delivers high torque, fast recovery, and strong cutting power through dense vegetation. It is paired with an Eskridge® bearing housing with a 3.75" shaft diameter for demanding commercial use.
Heavy-Duty Blade Carrier
The standard cutting system features three non-updraft drop blades mounted to a massive 1" GRD-50 steel disc. An optional upgraded system uses four reversible Hardox® 500 flat blades secured between two 5/8" high-strength steel discs.
Built for Excavator Land Clearing
The X-Series features a 1/4" heavy-duty steel deck, reinforced gussets, fully boxed construction, and continuously welded seams. A hinged vented hood protects the motor and drive components, while a pilot guard provides additional underside protection.
The cutter also includes pressure relief valves and a required case drain for hydraulic motor protection.
