Meet the Skid Steer PDX-1000 Post Driver

The PDX-1000 is engineered to take the punishment of daily fence installation. A nitrogen-charged power cell, activated by your skid steer’s hydraulics, delivers a full 1,000 ft-lbs of driving energy per strike—plenty of force to drive posts into hard-packed soil, clay, or mixed ground conditions. The power cell is mounted inside a heavy-duty housing with rubber isolators to reduce vibration, protecting both the attachment and your machine while improving operator comfort.

A hydraulically controlled 15° tilt mechanism allows precise post placement on uneven terrain, slopes, and fence lines that don’t run perfectly level. Unlike bulkier designs, the PDX-1000 positions the driver body closer to the skid steer, improving downforce, visibility, and maneuverability—especially helpful when working along tight fence rows or obstacles.

Versatility is built in. The standard post guide housing array accommodates 2", 4", 6", and 8" posts, with removable guides for posts larger than 9". Choose between domed or flat driver head tools, and tackle tough ground with the included 5-foot breaker spike, all manufactured from high-tensile 4140 tool steel for long service life under repeated impacts.
