The Werk-Brau Ditching & Grading Bucket is a good choice when you need a wide bucket for finish work instead of hard digging. It’s built specifically for ditch maintenance, grading, slope work, and general construction, where a wider cutting edge helps you smooth and shape material efficiently.

I also like that Werk-Brau offers additional drain holes and an Aquatic Ditching Bucket for contractors working around ponds, waterways, and wet conditions.

With models for Mini 01 machines from 5,000–7,500 lbs. through Mini 15 machines from 7,000–11,000 lbs., and widths from 24" to 48", there are plenty of options for smaller excavators.

Big Dave’s Take: If you’re running a mini excavator and doing a lot of grading, ditch cleanup, or slope work, this is the type of bucket I’d want on the machine. It gives you the width you need to finish a job faster without trying to make a digging bucket do a grading bucket’s job.
