WL-HT High Tip Bucket

Increase the dump height of your wheel loader with a Craig High Tip Bucket. On most machines you can increase your dump height to the OEM boom pin height allowing for applications such as loading high-side trucks without the need of a ramp.

APPLICATION SPECIFIC DESIGN

Craig designs each High Tip Bucket for the specific application it will operate in. By providing Craig with the machine information and weight per cubic yard of the material, Craig will optimize the bucket capacity to maximize your machines potential. Craig can also perform a Finite Element Analysis (FEA) if required to prove the viability of the design.

LIGHT WEIGHT, HIGH PERFORMANCE

Every bucket is designed to include top quality materials and have the tightest center of gravity as possible to the machine. This is supported through FEA to ensure each bucket is as light as possible to improve machine stability while still maintaining the durability of the bucket

REBUILDABLE COMPONENTS

All cylinder and hinge pins are supported by greaseable and replaceable bushings, which reduces the rebuild costs and improves the longevity of the bucket. The bucket hinge bushing is also protected with wiper seals to keep the grease in and the debris out of this key area.

CYLINDER DESIGN

All Craig High Tip Buckets are equipped with dual cushion head cylinders that have been individually pressure tested to 5,000 PSI. Cylinders come complete with cushion valves for a smooth operation cycle. By reducing vibrations while the bucket is opening and closing, bucket longevity is enhanced.

VERTICAL CYLINDER DESIGN 

Vertical cylinders make the bucket easier to fill by not having the box structure of horizontal cylinders in the bucket. Vertical cylinders allow material that may pack around the cylinder and pocket to fall away, preventing damage to the cylinder.

HIGH EFFICIENCY BACK FRAME

The High Tip Bucket back frame centers the load of the bucket as close to the boom arms as possible. This in conjunction with vertical cylinders puts the center of gravity of the bucket as close to the machine as possible, improving machine stability and performance.

EFFICIENT HOSE ROUTING

By locating the hoses close to the boom arms the potential for hose chafing issues is reduced. Craig High Tip Buckets come pre-plumbed to accept dealer supplied whip hoses. Hose routing from jumper hoses to the individual cylinders on the bucket is performed at the factory. We go the extra mile to ensure these hoses are clamped securely to the backframe of the bucket. Our latest hose routing method is far superior to past versions and is straight forward to replace when that time comes. Machine will require optional third valve to operate.

FLAT BOTTOM BUCKET

As a result of the vertical cylinders, Craig High Tip Buckets feature a flat bottom which improves penetration into the pile and makes the bucket easier to fill, reducing fuel costs.

CUSTOM VISIBILITY SLOTS

Optional visibility slots are available on High Tip Buckets. Visibility slots are customized for the customers’ needs and application.

REPLACEABLE BOLT-ON CUTTING EDGE 

Each bucket drilled to work with the OEM brand of cutting edges requested comes complete with cutting edges installed.
