HLA Hydraulic Limb Saw Attachment | Skid Steer & Tractor Tree Trimmer

  • Overhanging tree limbs can quickly overtake pasture fence lines, choke out productive field borders, and block vital access trails. The HLA Hydraulic Limb Saw provides commercial property owners, farmers, and land clearing contractors with the ultimate solution to reclaim lost ground. Engineered for maximum safety and efficiency, this rugged attachment allows operators to trim high branches and tame unruly fence rows directly from the comfort and safety of a skid steer or tractor cab. By eliminating the extreme hazards of ladders, climbing harnesses, and handheld chainsaws, the HLA Limb Saw transforms dangerous arbor work into a fast, one-person operation. It keeps your large agricultural and construction equipment safe from costly branch scrapes while opening up access to previously overgrown acreage. Commercial-Grade Performance & Hydraulic Power The backbone of this high-performance attachment is a powerful hydraulic motor that delivers 22 HP and 45 ft-lb of torque at peak operation. Spinning the chain at an impressive 2,550 RPM, it slices through thick hardwood limbs effortlessly. To maximize operational uptime, the system features an innovative automatic chain oiler. This integrated system utilizes an adjustable bleed-off screw that siphons fluid directly from the auxiliary hydraulics, keeping the bar continuously lubricated without needing a separate manual reservoir. Premium Reach, Visibility, and Cut Assist Equipped with a standard Stihl 25-inch guide bar and saw chain, sourcing replacement wear parts is incredibly easy at any local outdoor power dealer. The main boom structure delivers up to 14 feet of independent reach from the mounting plate. When combined with the lifting height of a standard skid steer or utility tractor loader arm, operators can easily achieve a vertical cutting height of over 20 feet. The main mast features three adjustable mounting positions for optimal placement, while the spring-tensioned arm provides automatic cut-assist pressure to ensure clean, precise cuts without binding the bar. This extended boom design allows you to reach safely across deep ditches, steep banks, and other property obstacles.
    Key Features & Benefits
    • Maximum Operator Safety: Trim high, heavy limbs safely from the seat of your loader, eliminating dangerous ladder work.
    • Stihl 25" Cutting Assembly: Employs a standard Stihl 25-inch guide bar and chain for simple, universal part replacement.
    • 22 HP Hydraulic Motor: Generates 45 ft-lb of high-torque cutting power to handle dense, mature tree limbs.
    • Automatic Lubrication: Adjustable bleed-off screw automatically siphons hydraulic fluid to continuously lubricate the chain.
    • Spring-Tension Cut Assist: Smart mechanical arm helps feed the saw smoothly through the branch to prevent binding.
    • 3-Position Adjustability: The main mast and boom pole offer a 3-position pivot stop system for customized reach and placement.
    • Chainsaw Cover Included: Heavy-duty protective guard included to shield the bar and chain during transport and storage.

    Machine Compatibility Requirements

To ensure safe operation and optimal cutting performance, your host machine must meet the following minimum engineering specifications:
    • Hydraulic Flow Rates: A minimum auxiliary hydraulic flow of 15 GPM at 3,000 PSI is required to achieve the full 22 HP motor output.
    • Operating Capacity: The host tractor or skid steer must have a Rated Operating Capacity (ROC) that safely supports the 395 lbs attachment weight when the loader arms are fully extended to their maximum height.
    • Electrical & Coupler Fittings: Standard 1/2-inch flat-face hydraulic couplers are required. Ensure your auxiliary control layout allows for continuous hydraulic flow activation from inside the cab.
    • Cab Protection: It is highly recommended that the host machine is equipped with an enclosed cab featuring a 1/2" poly-carbonate or heavy-duty mesh demo door to protect the operator from falling branches.
