Solesbee's Skid Steer Reversible Stick Rake

Flip Between a Dozer Blade and Stick Rake with One Heavy-Duty Attachment

When you're clearing land, grading a site, or cleaning up vegetation, the work rarely stays the same from start to finish. One minute you need a dozer blade to push dirt, gravel, or debris. The next, you need a rake to separate sticks, brush, and surface vegetation. Instead of hauling two separate attachments to every jobsite, the Solesbee's Reversible Stick Rake Powered by Norm Engineering combines both functions into one rugged attachment.

Using a simple 4-pin quick-lock system, you can quickly switch between the dozer blade and stick rake configurations in the field. Remove the four locking pins, rotate the attachment so the opposite edge faces forward, reinstall the pins, and you're ready to work. No hydraulics, no complicated mechanisms, and no additional attachment required.

Available in 6-foot, 7-foot, and 8-foot widths, the Reversible Stick Rake is designed for skid steers and compact track loaders from 40 HP to over 80 HP and comes backed by a 12-month warranty.

Two Attachments in One

The Solesbee's Reversible Stick Rake gives contractors two essential tools without sacrificing durability or performance.

Dozer Blade Mode

The dozer blade side is ideal for:

  • Pushing dirt and gravel
  • Backfilling trenches
  • Leveling soil
  • Grading roads and driveways
  • Moving loose material

A heavy-duty replaceable bolt-on cutting edge provides excellent wear resistance and can be reversed when one edge becomes worn, extending service life.

Stick Rake Mode

When it's time for cleanup, simply reverse the attachment.

The stick rake side is designed for:

  • Raking sticks
  • Gathering branches
  • Cleaning up vegetation
  • Separating debris from soil
  • Final site cleanup

Unlike traditional land-clearing rakes that are designed for pulling roots and heavy brush, the stick rake features 12–16 mm tines spaced much closer together, making it ideal for collecting smaller debris while minimizing ground disturbance.

Heavy-Duty Construction

Every Reversible Stick Rake is built for demanding commercial applications.

Features include:

  • Reversible dozer blade and stick rake design
  • Simple 4-pin quick-lock field conversion
  • Replaceable reversible bolt-on cutting edge
  • Heavy-duty 12–16 mm rake tines
  • 500-grade quenched and tempered steel plate
  • Universal skid steer quick attach
  • Built by Norm Engineering
  • 12-month manufacturer's warranty

The attachment is engineered to withstand daily use in landscaping, agriculture, construction, and land management applications.

Big Dave's Review – Reversible Stick Rake

I've looked at a lot of skid steer attachments over the years, and most manufacturers build a tool that does one job well. What makes the Reversible Stick Rake stand out is that it gives you two useful attachments in one. Flip it one way and you've got a grading and backfilling dozer blade. Turn it around and you've got a fine stick rake for cleaning up debris, twigs, and vegetation.

One of the first questions people ask is whether you can use both sides at the same time. The answer is no. This isn't a combination blade and rake working simultaneously—it's a reversible attachment. To switch between the two, you simply remove the four locking pins, rotate the attachment so the opposite edge faces forward, and reinstall the pins. It takes a few minutes in the field, but it's a straightforward process that doesn't require any special tools.

What really impressed me is the rake itself. Unlike a traditional land-clearing rake designed for digging out roots and moving heavy brush, these tines are built for finish work. The 12 to 16 mm tines are spaced much closer together, making them excellent for gathering sticks, small branches, leaves, and other surface debris without pulling up unnecessary amounts of soil. If you've ever spent hours trying to clean up after tree work or site prep, you'll appreciate how much cleaner this rake leaves the ground.

Choosing the correct size is simple. The DB1800UN (6 ft.) is designed for 40–60 HP machines, the DB2100UN (7 ft.) fits 60–80 HP, and the DB2500UN (8 ft.) is built for 80+ HP skid steers and compact track loaders. If you're not sure which model is right for your machine, just provide your horsepower rating and we'll recommend the proper size.

Overall, I think this is one of those attachments that earns its place in the shop. Instead of owning a separate dozer blade and finish rake, you get both functions in one rugged attachment. For contractors, landscapers, municipalities, and property owners who regularly grade, backfill, and clean up jobsites, the Reversible Stick Rake is a practical, time-saving solution that's built to work as hard as you do.
