The Virnig V40 Closed Front Rotary Brush Cutter is built for skid steers to clear brush and mulch trees up to 3” in diameter with speed and durability. Featuring a three-blade cutting system mounted on a circular flywheel, it deflects off stumps to protect components. Dual hydraulic relief valves with dynamic braking stop the 170–220 lb flywheel in under 10 seconds for added safety. Powered by a direct drive Eaton® motor (rated up to 25 GPM), it’s compatible with a wide range of skid steers. A reinforced push bar adds rigidity for knocking down heavy brush, while ½” x 4” updraft blades deliver efficient cutting and mulching performance.
